More beautiful life: “A huge page that turns”, this poignant shot of the last day of filming

This Thursday, September 29 is not a day like the others for the actors of Plus belle la vie. After 18 long years on the air, the cult program of France Télévisions saw its last day of filming. So, inevitably, the farewells are moving for all the teams of the series with 4665 episodes.

End clap for Plus belle la vie. The famous program of France Télévisions saw its very last day of filming this Thursday, September 29. After 18 years of broadcasting and 4665 episodes filmed, the historic studios of Belle-de-Mai, a popular district of Marseille, will be illuminated by the actors of the series for the very last time until the end of the post- midday. So, of course, whether it’s the actors or the production team, everyone is trying to make the most of this jubileewhich promises waves of emotions.

And to mark the occasion, the official Instagram account of the France 3 series shared a snapshot of the bar Le Mistral, accompanied by a comment that could not be more touching. Today is a very, very special day for all of us: it’s the last day of filming for Plus Belle La Vie. It’s been 18 years since this program changed our lives and it’s a huge page that is turning. Thank you to all the teams, technicians, production, broadcasters, actors, authors, editors, costume, decoration, digital… Thank you to Marseille, the most beautiful city in the world, for giving us this extraordinary human experience. Strength and courage to all, life is and will always remain more beautiful”.

The last two episodes of Plus belle la vie will be broadcast on November 18

The last two episodes will air on November 18. and will be followed by a third specifically produced for the occasion, in prime time. Each day, the editing teams produced a 26-minute episode, which imposed on them a very sustained pace that was out of all proportion to the rhythms of non-daily series and cinema. Nearly 600 people have worked for the series each year and 3,232 actors in all, to which must be added the extras, took part in the filming. The end of Plus belle la vie will be missed by many viewers, who have remained faithful for very long years. To console yourself, you have to tell yourself that all good things come to an end.
