In the next episodes of “More beautiful life, even more beautiful”, Babeth will investigate her new neighbors. And she will make a worrying discovery.
Last Friday in Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, Patrick Nebout (Jérome Bertin) witnessed a murder in the apartment opposite his home. And if at first his loved ones didn’t want to believe him, the policeman gradually managed to convince Babeth (Marie Réache) that their neighbors across the street were behaving strangely.
In the episode broadcast this Friday on TF1, the nurse broke into Maxime and Cécilia’s house in order to find clues about what may have happened the previous week. But if Babeth returns empty-handed, she remains convinced that there is something fishy with their neighbors. She will therefore help her husband in his investigation.
Babeth makes a horrifying discovery
In a extract from episode 42 of Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, posted online on the TF1+ platform, Babeth once again goes to her neighbors to visit their cellar. In order to find the missing red carpet, the nurse and her husband called all the dry cleaners in the area, to no avail.
For them, there is no longer any doubt: Maxime and Cécilia still have the rug at home, in their cellar. Babeth will therefore go to investigate in their absence, which does not enchant Patrick very much.
So she goes to the cellars of the building with her husband on the phone. The place is dark and austere. After searching for a few minutes, she finally finds the cellar door. “I feel like someone went before me, the door was forced”, explains Babeth to her husband.
Patrick then asks his wife to immediately stop her search and come home. But Babeth refuses. She might as well watch it herself now that she’s there.
It is at this moment that the two spouses are cut off. Babeth continues anyway and enters the cellar. She finds the switch and turns on the light. And there, on the ground, she sees a sleeping bag. Panicked, she flees.
What did Babeth discover?
In the rest of the episode, which is already available in preview on TF1+, Babeth will go directly to the police station to warn Jean-Paul of her discovery.
But upon arriving at the scene, the police will notice that it is not a corpse that is inside the sleeping bag, but a homeless person sleeping. Leaving the cellar, however, Jean-Paul will discover a mysterious piece of red carpet hanging on the wall. Did Cécilia and Maxime really murder someone? Answer in the next episodes.
While waiting for the investigation to progress, Patrick is, for his part, in great danger. Cécilia indeed understood that he was investigating them. And to get rid of him, the young woman seems ready to do anything, even poison him…
