In the episode of More beautiful life Friday, June 3, 2022, at the police station, prosecutor Revel (Grégory Questel) announces to the press that Joseph Kovak, alias Jacob, has been arrested by the Marseille police. A few meters away, Jean-Paul asks Ariane (Lola Marois) for news of her relationship with Mathieu (Julien Courbey). Ariane, who still does not assume her story with the lieutenant, assures him that everything is over. Without knowing that Mathieu is listening to them, she goes so far as to make fun of her appearance. At the end of the day, the lieutenant gathers his things and decides to return to Cannes. As he leaves, he meets Ariane in the parking lot of the police station. The policewoman is surprised to see him leave without saying goodbye, but Mathieu tells her that nothing is keeping him in Marseilles anymore. Very tense, Ariane lets him go.
Kevin (Théo Bertrand) spent the night at home with Camille (Lisa Cipriani). The young girl offers him to go have breakfast with Emma (Pauline Bression), but Kevin likes their little bubble and prefers to stay alone with her. Perplexed, Camille has the impression that he does not assume his relationship with her. To prove him wrong, Kevin agrees to go to lunch with Emma and Baptiste (Bryan Trésor). A little later, Émilie (Laurie Bordesoules) sees Kevin on the Place du Mistral and comes to ask for news. Camille is quick to interrupt their conversation and kisses Kevin on the cheek. Surprised, Émilie claims to be happy for them and slips away.
Kilian must change high school
Betty (Horya Benabet) is angry with Jean-Paul (Stéphane Hénon) for attacking Kilian (Tim Rousseau) the day before. She finds that he was violent with him by pinning him against a car. Léa (Marie Hennerez) assures us that Boher simply wanted to protect her, but Betty thinks he mostly wanted to let off steam. She and Kilian were just chatting and Jean-Paul probably made things worse. For his part, Kilian is summoned to the police station. Boher tells him that the judge has ordered a measure of removal against him. He can therefore no longer approach Betty, under penalty of two years in prison and a €15,000 fine. Kilian gets angry. In his eyes, this story is only about him and Betty. No one else should interfere.
At the hospital, Léa goes to see Gabriel (Joakim Latzko) to tell him about Kilian and Betty. Now that the judge has ordered a measure of removal, Kilian should unsubscribe from Scotto. Gabriel promises to talk about it with Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré). In the evening, Thomas and Gabriel announce to Kilian that they are going to enroll him in another high school. Immediately, the teenager gets angry and leaves the apartment.
Abdel finally finds Elisa
In the early morning, Abdel (Marwan Berreni) enters without knocking at Barbara’s (Léa François) and surprises her kissing Tim. The young lawyer is happy to receive the response from BTP, who gives him an appointment the same day to discuss. Barbara finds it strange that things are going so fast, but for Abdel, it’s a sign that BTP is hiding something. Surely they want to know what they know.
Later, Abdel returns to the nightclub where he met Elisa and asks the boss for information about her. The boss sends him packing and threatens to call the police, but Abdel has more than one trick up his sleeve. At the entrance to the nightclub, he noticed a sedan with German registration. He threatens the boss to denounce him to the financial brigade, who would be very interested in a nightclub boss on the straw but able to afford a sedan. Faced with these threats, the boss agrees to take a look at the list of VIPs from the evening when Abdel met Elisa. The latter is indeed on the list, but her last name is not indicated. There is only a “C” next to his first name. Abdel loses all hope of finding her one day. On the verge of tears, he finds support at Marci with Barbara.
Later, Tim finds Barbara at her house. He asks her questions about Abdel, and Barbara confesses to having had a history with him. It is, however, well finished. For his part, Abdel goes to his appointment with BTP. Maître Coutant-Marceau, the company’s lawyer, is late but ends up arriving. To Abdel’s surprise, it’s Elisa…
