More beautiful life (spoilers): Camille is trapped and Gabriel cracks

This Thursday, May 4 in Plus belle la vie (8:20 p.m., France 3), the investigation to find Jacob continues and Ariane finds a solution to get Camille to talk. Meanwhile, Gabriel struggles to cope with his return to work.

In the Thursday May 4 episode of Plus belle la vie, Ariane and Mathieu have a new idea to try to get Camille to talk. They guessed that the man they shot is not Jacob but his cousin, Pascal Henry. Ariane explains that a second DNA could have falsified the results, and that Camille has been leading them on since she gave them a false identification of the body. When she watches a video of an interrogation again, Ariane realizes Camille’s acting talent. Meanwhile, the latter is precisely still following Kevin, on whom she pretends to fall. When she asks him if he has received her letter, he replies in the affirmative, specifying however that nothing will happen between them. She assures him that she just wanted to cheer him up, and invites him to have a waffle with him. While they are talking on a bench, Ariane and Mathieu arrive.

The cops want to question Camille and take her to Jacob’s house to ask her if the name of another victim of Jacob, or rather of his double, speaks to her. According to them, Jacob’s copycat would have kidnapped this man under exactly the same conditions that she was held back by Jacob. Camille still denies it but Ariane retorts that they know that Jacob has started killing again, and that the man the police killed is Pascal Henri, his cousin. Annoyed by thinking back to the death of two young police officers, Ariane slaps Camille after an insulting response. At the roommate, things have calmed down since Romain finally told the girls that he has a neurodegenerative disease. While Sylvia and Emilie take great care, Fanny seems pissed off. The girls then explain to Romain that she is angry with him for not having told her about his illness earlier.

Gabriel takes revenge on his family

Romain catches up with Fanny and apologizes by explaining that he didn’t want to change their relationship, and the two friends hug. Finally at the hospital, Gabriel feels watched, and for good reason. His stretcher-bearer friend Eric explains to him thatit is the subject of a bet. Some colleagues bet he’s changed since his return, and others bet he’s still the confident doctor. Annoyed but reassured to know that it is only a bet, Gabriel assures his friend that he will make him win. Keeping his scathing answers to himself, however, requires a lot of effort., to the point that an evil double tries to convince him to let go and return to being the impatient, arrogant man he used to be. When he returns home, he can no longer hold himself back and ends up getting angry with his family who simply offered him an escape game…
