On September 8 in Plus belle la vie (France 3, 8:20 p.m.), Justine tries to trap Jourdan, Mirta’s state of health deteriorates and Romain discovers the truth about Vanessa…
In the episode of More beautiful life from Thursday, September 8, 2022, Baptiste (Bryan Trésor) announces to Justine (Maelli Kervoelen) that he has cut ties with Emma (Pauline Bression). The young woman admits to being very touched and thanks him for this beautiful proof of love, just when she receives an SMS from Jourdan, the sect’s guru. He thinks she is ready to take action and start a fire… For her part, Emma goes to the hospital to have her head wound treated. Devastated by Baptiste’s decision, she bursts into tears in the arms of Gabriel (Joakim Latzko). The doctor suggests that she go and rest at his place, but there, Emma comes across Baptiste. The young man is cold and distant with her.
For her part, Justine finds Ariane (Lola Marois) to try to catch Jourdan in the act. She receives GPS coordinates and warns Jean-Paul (Stéphane Hénon), Patrick (Jérôme Bertin) and Kévin (Théo Bertrand), who hasten to arrest Jourdan for incitement to commit crimes. However, the GPS point indicated by the guru is in the sea. The police are confused…
Mirta’s health is deteriorating
Father Luc (Guillaume Laloux), who has decided to give up his vocation to fully live his story with Mirta (Sylvie Flepp), has been authorized to celebrate a last mass in his parish. Mirta comes to attend and settles in the confessional. At the end of the service, she overhears a conversation between her lover and Nelson, a parishioner. The latter expresses his dismay at the departure of the young priest. In his eyes, he was the soul of their community… Mirta is upset by this exchange. She has the feeling that Luc is making the wrong decision, especially since she is no longer very young and that he might one day no longer want to be with her. Nevertheless, Luc is sure of himself. He can’t wait to see what life has in store for him and Mirta. Back at the Zéphyr, Mirta feels unwell in the presence of Luna (Anne Décis). The young woman wants to go and tell Gabriel, but Mirta doesn’t see the point. She is sure that her discomfort was caused by the heat. Luna pretends to believe her, but has a bad feeling…
To prevent Romain (Simon Ehrlacher) from fleeing the shed, Vanessa tied him to a chair. In tears, the young man begs her to untie him, but Vanessa, locked in her love madness, is persuaded to do him a favor. After Vanessa leaves, a man arrives at the shed and rescues Romain. This is Paul, Vanessa’s father. The latter explains that his daughter suffers from erotomaniac psychosis. In other words, she is convinced that she is loved by others, even when they are not even aware of her existence. When Vanessa was 10 years old, she lost her mother and began to invent relationships. Since then, each crisis ends in hospitalization. It’s always very difficult to make her listen to reason when she’s in crisis. Romain decides to leave, but Paul begs him to stay. Back at the shed, Vanessa sees Romain and his father inside and grabs his gun…
