More beautiful life (spoilers): Vanessa puts Romain in danger

On August 31 in Plus belle la vie (France 3, 8:20 p.m.), Baptiste suspects Justine, Lola hears a gunshot and Vanessa puts Romain in danger…

In the episode of More beautiful life from Wednesday August 31, 2022, still without news from Justine (Maelli Kervoelen), Baptiste (Bryan Trésor) made a dozen calls to her, without success. Finally, the young woman ends up returning. She explains that she suffered from insomnia and went for a run, but her explanation is not enough to calm Baptiste… The next day, the young firefighters are sent to the site of a fire. Justine quickly finds an abalone shell, the signature of the arsonist from Marseille. Baptiste finds it strange that she found her so quickly and confides in Emma (Pauline Bression). He wonders if his girlfriend would not have set the fire during the night and blames his ex for having put such ideas in his head…

Since the attack on Simon (Julien Ellenrieder), Éric (Régis Maynard) no longer has a taste for anything and lives in a veritable dump. In the early morning, Ariane (Lola Marois) goes to see him and tries to shake him. It is not by letting go that he will find the one who shot Simon. Despite Eric’s reluctance, she manages to take him to a hideout and the duo calls out to Marc Renkin. Questioned by Ariane, the young man admits to having drunk too much the evening of Simon’s attack. Drunk, he doesn’t remember much, except having spent the night in his car. He explains that he lied about his alibi so as not to get into trouble, having already been prosecuted for violence. Ariane is convinced to hold Simon’s attacker, but Éric isn’t so sure…

Still alone in the forest, Lola (Marie Mallia) decides to go pick figs. Returning to her camp, she comes across an armed shepherd. This one is looking for the wolf, who attacked three of his beasts during the night. Lola claims not to have seen the beast and reminds him that wolves are a protected species. She threatens to call the police if he persists in wanting to shoot her, but the man, determined, takes his cell phone and smashes it against the ground. At the Mistral, Sunalee (Alixe Guidoni) goes to see Kilian (Tim Rousseau), who is waiting for a call from his sister. But after two hours, Lola still hasn’t called. Worried, Kilian plans to tell everything to Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré) and Gabriel (Joakim Latzko). In the mountains, Lola hears a gunshot…

Vanessa throws away Romain’s medication

The day before, Vanessa took advantage of the absence of Romain (Simon Ehrlacher) to put drugs in her drink. As a result, the young doctor wakes up with a headache. He considers taking paracetamol, but his girlfriend offers to make him peppermint tea instead. For her part, Émilie (Laurie Bordesoules) listens to the information and realizes that a fire is approaching the town where Romain and Vanessa are. She talks about it to her father, Patrick (Jérôme Bertin), but he is reassuring. If Romain is in a danger zone, the firefighters will have him evacuated. As a precaution, Émilie asks him to check Vanessa’s background. Patrick discovers that she has been the subject of a complaint for harassment and abuse of power. She was suspected of having caused several employees to burn out, to the point that one of them tried to commit suicide.

At the same time, at the shed, Romain cannot find his medicine kit. Vanessa offers to replace them with plants, but the young doctor does not believe in this type of medicine. As she sends for him upstairs, Vanessa takes Romain’s pencil case out of its hiding place and empties the contents into a sink…
