More beautiful life: the series back on Chérie 25!

From this Monday, March 13, Chérie 25 will rebroadcast old seasons of “Plus belle la vie”, the daily soap opera of France 3 which bowed out on November 18 after more than 18 years on the air.

On November 18, after 18 seasons and 4665 episodes, Plus belle la vie bowed out on France 3 on the occasion of an exceptional bonus which allowed fans to say goodbye to the soap opera which has punctuated their daily lives for more than 18 years old.

And if some continue to hope that the series will soon return to television for a sequel, the TNT channel Chérie 25 created a surprise a few weeks ago by announcing that Plus belle la vie would be back on its antenna… for reruns.

From this Monday, March 13 from 12:45 p.m., the channel will offer eight episodes of the series, including two “unreleased”. And if many hoped to be able to resume the series from the beginning, they will be very disappointed to learn that Chérie 25 will broadcast the daily soap from season 9, which was proposed in 2012 on France 3.

A burst of episodes which is notably marked by the departures of Ambroise Michel (Rudy Torres) and Aurélie Vaneck (Ninon Chaumette), who left the series during the season.

Better life, back soon?

It has been several months since rumors about a possible return of Plus belle la vie have been running on the internet. In November 2022, just a few days before the broadcast of the last prime, actors and technicians announced that they had set up a Cooperative Production Company (Scop) in an attempt to save the series, as well as the many jobs it created over the years.

Last February, it was Xavier Niel, the boss of Free, who announced to ARCOM his desire to revive the soap opera, but on SIX, his new channel project intended to replace M6. However, the project did not succeed, the regulator having announced that it preferred the M6 project.

For the moment, the fate of Plus belle la vie is therefore still pending, even if the scenario of a sequel is becoming less and less probable. In the meantime, fans will be able to immerse themselves in the series from Monday to Friday from 12:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Chérie 25.
