Dounia Coesens has a hard time telling herself that More beautiful life is going to stop. Thus, she revealed to our colleagues from We Two to have kept certain accessories of her character, Johanna.
Tuesday July 5, France 3 broadcast the episode reunion of More beautiful life. The opportunity for viewers to find Dounia Coesens, for a resounding return to fiction. During his interview for We boththe one who embodies Johanna in the series confided having kept a few accessories from this role that she played for several years and which is so close to her heart : “It turned me upside down to come back to the scene knowing that everything was going to disappear, when I grew up there. It’s moving, it made me nostalgic”she begins by declaring, before continuing: “I kept accessories from Johanna, my character: two, three blouses and her earrings from the last premium”, she reveals.
Dounia Coesens also mentioned theimpact of the end of the series on the shooting of this episode : “There was obviously a negative impact for those who are there all the time, but it also brought positives, in the sense that we didn’t know if we were going to meet again later”she told 20 minutes. He will miss certain habits : “When I come to Marseille, I go say hello to the troupe and there, we say to ourselves that when we go down, we don’t know if we will find this troupe spirit again, so we make the most of it. There was a nostalgic side to filming, of course, and we had to take advantage of every minute because we don’t know what tomorrow brings”.
Dounia Coesens confides in her fondest memories in Plus belle la vie
The actress also spoke about one of her fondest memories: “It’s when the audiences started to go up, up, up… We had made a chalk board with the audience shares, we kept it on a set for years. That’s when we were about fifteen actors at the base, it hadn’t worked for six months and suddenly it started to take”. She will never forget More beautiful life : “It was the recognition of the work, of the fact that we had been fighting for months for this series. We didn’t know if we were going to continue or not and all of our work paid off. It was incredible, the Ratings were so high that we didn’t realize the impact it had. And every day, we went on set to defend things because that’s also Plus belle la vie, a series that defends societal things. To receive so many letters from people saying that she helped them in life, it was just happiness”.
