New Chromebook for new AMD processor

It is therefore this Ryzen 5000 C which acts as the main attraction for the product. Based on AMD’s Zen 3 architecture, it is advertised as a solution for multitasking without slowing down the system.

Of course, you shouldn’t ask too much of it, it’s a portable PC designed above all for productivity applications. It is particularly suitable for students and workers who do not need demanding software.

Autonomy is announced at 10 hours of use, but only a test in real conditions can really give us a reliable indication of its capabilities in this area.

Telework being fashionable, Acer does not hesitate to announce good performance for video conferences thanks to the presence of an anti-glare webcam, two microphones and two speakers.

A hybrid and versatile design

The 360° design of the Acer Chromebook Spin 514 allows normal use for a laptop PC, but also a tent mode, more practical for watching videos or browsing with the touch screen, or a tablet mode. A hybrid device designed for nomads.

The 14-inch IPS panel displays Full HD definition and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. The brand also insists on the finesse of the side edges surrounding the screen, which measure 6.1 mm.
