Do you have a summer vacation coming up, but you can’t go away with a clear conscience because you don’t want to leave your house and property unattended for so long? A surveillance camera can help. Many modern models are connected via WiFi and have an integrated battery. This means they can be installed almost anywhere without cables.
Aldi is currently offering such a camera. The “SH-IPC09” from Deltaco is available in the online shop for just 64.99 euros – a good deal for the surveillance system, which works for up to three months using the integrated battery. If you wish, you can also operate the camera using a power supply, which is included in the delivery.
The camera from Deltaco has an IP54 certification. This means it is protected against water and dust and can withstand the weather. It also has integrated infrared LEDs, so that a visibility range of up to ten meters is possible even in the dark.
App connection and local storage
The surveillance camera delivers a resolution of Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). The photos and videos recorded are saved on a memory card. There is no obligation to subscribe to cloud storage or other functions, as is common with many competing models.
You can access the camera image from your smartphone at any time using the Deltaco Smart Home app. You can hear what is happening on site using the two-way audio system and you can also make your own announcements.
An integrated motion detector notifies you as soon as movement is detected. You can switch this on or off using the mobile software, and you can also set a timer. The surveillance camera is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
At 7.6 x 10.6 x 7.6 centimeters, the surveillance camera is very compact and at 370 grams it is also quite light. The appropriate installation accessories and an instruction manual are included in the delivery – however, you have to buy a memory card separately.
