More than 2.7 per mille – heavily intoxicated stopped by the police

The police pulled two affected car drivers out of traffic on Friday.

On Friday afternoon, a car driver drove into the “Aufeld” municipal road in Eugendorf. However, since he was driving in from Thalgau, he disregarded the “No entry” sign. Police officers observed the offense and carried out a traffic control. The alcohol test carried out on the driver, who appeared to be clearly intoxicated, showed an impairment of more than 2.7 per mille. The driver’s license was provisionally taken away and further driving was prohibited. He is timed. In a traffic accident in Mariapfarr, also on Friday around 2 p.m., a Polish car driver left the roadway at the intersection of the B95 and L22. According to the police, microsleep is suspected to be the cause. The driver of the car collided with a spruce hedge. Fortunately the driver was injured. There was minor damage to the car and the hedge. The alcohol test carried out also showed a value of over 2.7 per mille. The driver’s license was temporarily taken away from this driver as well.
