A typical male phenomenon, the good old morning latte. Or is it not? There is supposed to be something like that with women too. Just the vagina equivalent. But what exactly does that mean?

… and the marmot greets you every day. At least that is the case with many men who wake up in the morning with an erection. And you don’t even have to think about sex to do that. The morning bar is often simply an inevitable part of the sleep cycle. But what about us women? Do we also have something like a morning latte? The answer is: Yes, we have!

Wet dreams or what’s going on down there?

The vagina also responds to our sleep cycle. During the REM phase, blood flow to the genital area may increase. And like the penis, it is a erectile tissue, only that is not so obvious. In addition, the clitoris is much larger than what we can see from the outside. If something swells up inside of us, of course, you don’t see it. Basically, during the REM phase, exactly what happens when we are sexually aroused happens: oxygen-rich blood is pumped into the genital tissue, which not only makes the clitoris, but also the labia larger and redder, and the vagina wet.

Swing into the box: morning sex is healthy!

Of course, that doesn’t mean that we have one wet dream after another during the REM phases. We don’t have to be sexually aroused for our pubic area to swell. Nevertheless, of course, this does not rule out that you can still use both the male and the female morning latte for a quickie or the more extensive variant. After all, morning sex is very healthy, increases productivity, gets the circulation going and is even said to have anti-inflammatory effects. At the same time, we are deeply relaxed and rested in the morning. So there are no more excuses!
