After a launch which was not without waves due to a disastrous Switch version, Mortal Kombat 1 will especially make the news with its DLCunited in a Kombat Pack to the content revealed last July. Homelander will not be added before spring 2024, but the first additional fighter will arrive this month and we have to believe that everything is linked, because in this movemberIt is Omni-Man and his big mustache that we are waiting for. His first glimpse of gameplay had been broadcast during the New York Comic-Con 2023but NetherRealm Studios lets us enjoy its violence once again in today’s trailer, which also reveals its release date.
Straight from Viltrum, Omni-Man will therefore become playable from Thursday November 9, 2023 for owners of the Kombat Pack, while its separate purchase will be possible a week later for the rest of the players, on Thursday, November 16. Incidentally, the video also introduces Tremor inasmuch as Kameo Fighter which will be added at the same time.
Omni-Man, also known as Nolan Grayson, hails from the alien world of Viltrum and has long fought to protect his adopted home as one of the planet’s most powerful champions. He even raised his son, the hero known as Invincible (Mark Grayson), to follow in his footsteps and carry on his legacy. But the true mission of the Viltrumite warrior has never been benevolence: it has been conquest. And the Empire of Viltrum, eager for expansion, has no intention of stopping at the Earth Kingdom.
With season 2 of the animated series Invincible available tomorrow, fans of the Robert Kirkman universe will have a double reason to rejoice this month.
