The news surrounding Mortal Kombat 1 is in turmoil at the moment, nothing could be more normal as its launch approaches. So, this week, we were first treated to a leak of the roster of the Fighters where there was notably Nitara. It didn’t take long for the latter to be made official, with no less than Megan Fox to bring it to life vocally. Do you want more ? This is good, since NetherRealm Studios now shares a video for the skin by Jean-Claude Van Damme.
As soon as the game was made official, we learned that the Kombat Pack would give access to this alternative appearance for Johnny Cage with the added bonus of the voice of the Belgian actor and martial arts practitioner. It’s a fair return of things, the character is inspired by his role as Frank Dux In Bloodsportreleased in 1988. Well, the resemblance between this skin and the JCVD of the time is not the most obvious on the face side. The new Fatality revealed is it very delusional, since he projects his opponent, here the basic version of Johnny, through the bumper of a sports car via a powerful kick, before slicing it in two using the door, then triggering an autopilot pulling what remains of the body. A gut-wrenching finish!
Owners of the edition Ultimate of Mortal Kombat 1 will have access to it from the launch on September 19, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC (Steam And Epic Games Store). The latter is sold from €79.99 on Amazon.
