Moselle: a schoolgirl escapes a kidnapping attempt


The 14-year-old girl was approached by a motorist on her way home from college. She scared her attacker away by defending herself. An investigation has been opened.

An investigation was opened after a 14-year-old schoolgirl suffered an attempted kidnapping on September 23, in Vitry-sur-Orne in Moselle, learned Le Figaro from a well-informed source, confirming information from the Lorraine Republican .

According to our colleagues from the local newspaper, this third-grade student was returning from college when a man driving a car tried to kidnap her in the middle of the street, in front of several witnesses, around 5 p.m.

The schoolgirl did not let herself be done and defended herself vigorously, scaring the motorist away. A complaint was filed and an investigation was entrusted to the gendarmerie. The driver is currently wanted.
