Moselle Féminicide in Amnéville: the body of the victim found cut up, the spouse indicted


The spouse of the sexagenarian found dead on Tuesday in Amnéville (Moselle) was indicted on Wednesday for “aggravated murder” and placed in pre-trial detention, announced the Metz prosecutor’s office.

The man, born in 1963, “acknowledged the facts” during his police custody, during which he had also given indications on the location of the body of his companion, said the public prosecutor, Yves Badorc.

The facts occurred on February 16 at the couple’s home in Amnéville, where “traces of blood” had been discovered. The body of his companion was cut up, and the remains were scattered in a thicket at the end of a path of brambles, report our colleagues from the Lorraine Republican.
