Most Wanted Criminals: after Julian McMahon, another actor leaves the series

The spinoff of the FBI series loses a new agent, after the successive departures of Kellan Lutz in 2020 and its star Julian McMahon earlier this year.

The departures are linked within the cast of Most Wanted Criminals. Launching in 2020 on CBS, the crime series created by Rene Balcer and produced by Dick Wolf, spin-off of the FBI series (with FBI: International) follows a team of FBI agents trained to hunt down the most dangerous and wanted criminals in the country. has lost no fewer than three recurring cast members in the span of two years.

First Nathaniel Arcand, who played Special Agent Clinton Skye, left the show in season 2, followed by Kellan Lutz (Kenny Crosby) at the start of season 3.

In January 2022, it was the turn of Julian McMahon, who nevertheless held the main role of the series in the guise of special supervisory agent Jess LaCroix, to leave the adventure during a shock episode broadcast last March which concluded the fate of the hero.

The latter was subsequently replaced by Dylan McDermott in the cast from April, the latter embodying a new character for the occasion, entitled Remy Scott. Despite this replacement at short notice, the haemorrhage of performers does not seem ready to stop.

According to the TVLine site, it is now the turn of special agent Ivan Ortiz, played by Miguel Gomez, to leave the series. The actor had joined season 2 as a recurring character following the departure of Nathaniel Arcand, and will not be part of season 4.

Despite this umpteenth departure, the series maintains its success since CBS announced in May that Most Wanted Criminals was renewed for two more seasons.

In France, the first two seasons of the series were offered on Serieclub, before being broadcast last summer on TF1, which finally canceled it shortly after the launch of season 2, still unpublished to date on our screens. .
