“Mother” of 34 children at 23, her schedule is mind-blowing

Tusayiwe Mkhondya is 23 years old and already… 34 children. It is obviously not not her biological children but she takes care of them like her own and this thanks to a meticulous organization that punctuates its daily life. Like many at her age, she often shares her adventures on TikTok as @tusaiweyana where, according to the Sunshe explained in particular that his day starts at 4am in order to have time to prepare food for all “his” children. Not everyone she has in her care in Malawi is, according to Tusayiwe Mkhondya, “abandoned. Some are orphans, some have only one parent and some have parents who abandoned them.”.

Herself single, homeless mother at 18the young woman decided to set up her own association, You Are Not Alone (YANA) in order to remedy her own situation but also to help all the children who need it. This is how she took in more than 30 children, aged from five months to 16 years old. and which she takes care of every day by providing them in particular, as she specifies on her TikTok account, “education, empowerment, empowerment and skills”. Thus, every morning at 4 a.m., Tusayiwe Mkhondya wakes up to prepare meals for all the children with sandwiches, hot dishes and drinks. But she’s not the only one with a job.

The older children have their daily missions

“I am the only one who prepares meals for the under 5s. Afterwards, each child has their chores to do every morning”. And although most of them go to bed at 7 p.m., the young mother’s day is far from over, sinceshe takes care of many babies. “I have to feed them, change their nappies and get ready for work the next day”. Because on top of all that, Tusayiwe Mkhondya works to support all the children she has taken in. Something to force admiration, as many of the comments point out on her Tiktok channel on which we can notably read messages that thank her and congratulate her.
