Motorola Edge 50 Pro: the high-end smartphone already shows its design

After the Edge 40 Neo, Motorola will soon move on to a new generation of smartphones with the Edge 50 Pro. Moreover, the design of this next high-end model from the American brand has just leaked on the Internet.

On March 8, 2024, Android Headlines shared first renderings in a blog post. We discover a photo block incorporated into the hull and taking the shape of an island, like what Oppo did with its Find X5.

The Edge 50 Pro benefits from a photo configuration similar to that of its predecessor with three sensors and an LED flash. The media highlights the presence of a 50 Mpx main sensor (f/1.4), an ultra wide-angle equivalent to a 13 mm lens and a 73 mm telephoto lens with 6x zoom.

Color wise, Motorola would have opted for purple, black and white. The third variation, which has an original textured back, is particularly interesting.

On the front, a 6.7-inch curved screen with a refresh rate of 165 Hz would be there. Android Headlines mentions the presence of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 12 GB of RAM and a 4,500 mAh battery compatible with 125 W wired and 50 W wireless fast charging.

For your information, Motorola recently teased the X50 Ultra. In a short video, we discovered some of the smartphone’s curves, but also the mention of artificial intelligence. Reserved for China, this model should be renamed Edge 50 Pro in Europe or Edge+ (2024) in the United States.
