Ivana Trump, the first wife of former US President Donald Trump, is dead. She died at the age of 73.
Mourning for Ivana Trump (1949-2022): The ex-wife of former US President Donald Trump died on July 14 at her home in New York at the age of 73. Her son Eric Trump (38) has that confirmed on Instagram. The family did not comment on the cause of death.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ivana Trump. Our mother was an incredible woman – a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty and a caring mother and friend,” writes the 38-year-old to one Series of photos in which he can be seen with his mother, his two siblings and also with father Donald Trump.
Ivana Trump is “a survivor”, she fled communism and taught her children “courage and perseverance, compassion and determination”. She would “miss her three children and ten grandchildren very much,” concludes Eric Trump.
Donald Trump: “She was an incredible woman”
Donald Trump also has Truth Social on his social media platform published a statement. “It is with great sadness that I announce to everyone who loved her, of whom there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” said the former US President. “She was a wonderful, beautiful and incredible woman who lived an amazing and inspiring life. Her pride and joy were her three children Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric. She was so proud of them and we were all proud of them. Rest in Peace, Ivana!”
Ivana Trump was from the former Czechoslovakia and was married to Donald Trump from 1977 to 1992. In addition to son Eric, they had son Donald Trump Jr. (44) in 1977 and daughter Ivanka Trump (40) in 1981.
