Pablo Grant, actor and rapper, has died at the age of 26. He became known primarily thanks to his role in “Polizeiruf 110”.

The “Polizeiruf 110” actor and hip-hop musician Pablo Grant is dead. Like his rap collective BHZ announced via Instagram, among other things, that the artist, also known under the pseudonym Dead Dawg, died on February 6th. He was only 26 years old. Grant died completely unexpectedly of a thrombosis, the message continues. The actor and musician’s family and friends are heartbroken and ask for privacy during this difficult time.

Pablo Grant became known to a wide audience primarily thanks to his role in the current “Polizeiruf 110” team alongside actress Claudia Michelsen (55) in Magdeburg. There he has played the investigator Günther Márquez since 2020. Grant has had other roles, among others, in the 2016 film “Bibi and Tina: Girls against Boys”, and once in the crime series “Tatort” and in the popular television series “In aller Friendship”. The Berlin native has already released two studio albums with BHZ.

Arrest warrant and Hertha BSC also mourn Pablo Grant

Four days ago, his collective canceled their upcoming tour for the current year at short notice “due to illness”. You are “infinitely sad” it was already said in this post on Instagram. In the meantime, some rap colleagues also spoke up and commented on the sad news. Rapper T-Low (22) wrote: “Damn, RIP Dawg. Fly high!” Ski Aggu (26), the band KIZ, arrest warrant (38) and Badmómzjay (21), among others, also expressed their condolences. The Berlin football club Hertha BSC also got in touch and left an emoji consisting of folded hands under the post about Grant’s death.
