Cristiano Ronaldo has found a new club. The superstar is moving to Saudi giants Al-Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo has settled his future. The last Portuguese without a club joins the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr from the capital Riyadh. Ronaldo has agreed a contract with the desert club until 2025. Including advertising revenue, the 37-year-old is said to earn around 200 million euros a year.
Most recently, Manchester United prematurely terminated the contract with “CR7” after the eccentric superstar had offended several times. Before leaving for the World Cup in Qatar, Ronaldo had gone on the program “Piers Morgan Uncensored” to settle accounts with United. The club then gave him the pass.
Ronaldo had left his future open since split from United. With Portugal, he was eliminated at the World Cup in the quarter-finals against Morocco.
After the end of his active career, Ronaldo is apparently supposed to help the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is controversial because of its human rights violations, as ambassador to be awarded the contract to host the 2030 World Cup (together with Egypt and Greece).
