George, Charlotte and Louis go to a new school

William and Kate are moving to Windsor with their children. A new school for George, Charlotte and Louis has already been found.
The Cambridge family will soon say goodbye to London. Prince William (40), Duchess Kate (40) and their three children will move into Adelaide Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle this summer. A new school for Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince Louis (4) has already been found: from September the three will attend the private Lambrook School near Ascot in the county of Berkshire. Kensington Palace has that according to consistent media reports now confirmed in a statement.
Prince William and Duchess Kate are happy
Prince George and Princess Charlotte previously attended Thomas’s Battersea School in London. Prince Louis will go to school for the first time in September. The royal couple stressed in the statement that they were “very grateful” to “Thomas’s Battersea” school, where George and Charlotte had had a “happy start to their education”. Now William and Kate are “glad to have found a school for all three children that represents a similar ethos and values.” The Headmaster of Lambrook School, Jonathan Perry, is delighted to welcome the three of them next September.
The royal family previously lived in Kensington Palace in west London. The offices located there will continue to be maintained by Prince William and Duchess Kate. The country home in Norfolk should remain available for weekends and holidays. According to media reports, the couple wants to move there permanently when the children are grown.
The Queen moved almost all of her main residence to Windsor Castle a few months ago. The move will not only bring William, Kate and the children closer to the British Queen, but also to the Duchess’ parents. Carole, 67, and Michael Middleton, 73, live just a 45-minute drive away in the village of Bucklebury.
