Ms. Marvel Star Wants MCU Series Season 2 Like Spider-Man

• First, Kamala Khan will return to the MCU in The Marvels.
• But series star Iman Vellani already has an idea for a potential second season of “Ms. Marvel”.
• Like the friendly neighborhood spider, she wants to fight crime in her native New Jersey.

The premiere season of the new MCU series “Ms. Marvel” has been released. After the grand finale of Episode 6, a number of Marvel fans are of course wondering whether a second season will appear – and what this will be about. Kamala Khan’s story will initially continue in The Marvels, which will be released in July 2023.

But for the second season of the series on Disney + – should it come – leading actress and Marvel mega fan Iman Vellani now expresses a special wish. In an interview with StyleCaster, Vellani is hoping for a second season of her show.

For this second edition, the young actress has specific ideas: “It would be fun to see Kamala after ‘The Marvels’ after she with her idol [Captain Marvel] fought. It’s similar to what Spider-Man went through after being in the Avengers [‘The First Avenger:] Fought Civil War’ and went back to the friendly neighborhood thing.”

“Ms. Marvel”: That’s why Iman Vellani’s wish makes a lot of sense

Not much is known about the plot of “The Marvels” at this time. But Kamala Khan will certainly have to deal with more global (or even interstellar) conflicts here. However, the “Ms. Marvel” series is grounded and primarily takes place in a Muslim community in New Jersey and at the local high school.

With that in mind, it would make a lot of sense for Kamala Khan to actually fight local crimes in Season 2 – much like the friendly neighborhood spider Spider-Man across the river in New York.
