Choosing a component when building a PC configuration can be complex. Graphics card manufacturers include AMD, Intel and of course market leader Nvidia. And at the entry level of the RTX 4000 generation, we obviously find the 4060 model. It is precisely this model that interests us today, with a limited edition MSI version.
MSI unveils its limited edition Nvidia graphics card
Today, MSI introduced the first drop of its MSI GeForce RTX 4060 GAMING X 8G NV EDITION graphics card. This is actually a new concept from the Taiwanese brand. What exactly does this change? In terms of performance, nothing notable, but this edition offers a special green Nvidia version, decorated with additional RGB LEDs on the side and the fairing. The objective is therefore not so much to offer a gain in power, but rather to have a unique object to display in its case. Because, as you may have noticed, transparent cases with glass fronts have been trendy for several years. It is therefore an ideal product for enthusiasts.
Note that only 6,000 copies will be produced worldwide. The first drop of MSI’s Nvidia RTX 4060 limited series is available exclusively in France from LDLC, at a price of 409.95 euros. No big difference in price, which remains “accessible”. This is a wish from the manufacturer MSI. Perfect for running Starfield or Baldur’s Gate 3.
The ambition does not stop there, and MSI has also decided to make this first drop a step towards a more eco-responsible approach. In fact, the packaging only uses the necessary quantity of material for shipping and protecting the graphics cards. We should therefore not end up with a huge cardboard box as is usual. A gesture for nature that we salute.
