MSI expands its line ofPC gaming monitors
curved MPG with Artymis 273CQRX-QD and 273CQR-QD models.

If the two new products display, as their name suggests, a 27 “WQHD 1000R curved VA panel, they are mainly distinguished by a refresh rate amounting respectively to 240 and 165 Hz.

Progress curve

Mainly accustomed to larger slabs, the MPG Artymis range therefore welcomes two “small” new 27″ ones. As their name also indicates, they benefit from a QD Premium Color display for a better visual experience.

MSI therefore intends to bring more colors to the market for curved gaming PC screens, configurable according to the wishes of users thanks to a “color calibration” function. Aimed at a gamer audience, these two monitors can count on a very high refresh rate and 1 ms response time. HDR 400 is also there to ensure beautiful contrasts with a ratio of 3000:1.

For visual comfort, they can count on technologies like FreeSync Premium Pro and MSI Gaming Intelligence. This latest technology offers, among other features, such as Optix Scope, Smart Crosshair or Nightvision to offer a certain competitive advantage in multiplayer games. On the connector side, the two screens have a DisplayPort 1.2a, two HDMI 2.0b ports and a USB TypeC port.

If we already know everything about a technical sheet that turns out to be extremely solid for these two new MSI gamer screens, we still have to know their availability and price, which have not yet been communicated. Note that the MPG Artymis 273CQR is sold for around 600 euros. The addition of QD Premium Color technology could therefore come at a high price.
