Barely two weeks after its official launch on Steam, MultiVersus already has a significant range of characters with well-defined roles and all from a variety of licenses. From Scooby-Doo to Game of Thrones via DC Comics, there is something for everyone… And the list is not even complete since a leaker would have discovered that a very famous character from Stranger Things could join her in the near future, among other characters at least as renowned!
Prestigious characters to come in MultiVerse?
The leak comes from the account MvsLeaks on Twitter known for its early announcements about the new fighting game from Warner Bros. According to the datamining of the person behind this account, a total of 19 characters would be present in the game files. Well… Not quite. According to him, the overwhelming majority of the 19 characters he would have discovered would be indicated as being “enemies” or “adversaries”, implying that they are destined to become playable sooner or later.
If we do not know to date which ones he thinks are supposed to join the MultiVersus Roster soon, we know the identity of the 19 potentially eligible and already datamined characters. Of course, all this information is to be taken with great tweezers, and we do not know to this day all the skills that these hypothetical fighters could have:

Characters that are at least emblematic of the universes from which they come, for the most part at least! Of course, Eleven caught our attention first in this list at a time when the series Stranger Things is particularly in the spotlight with the end of its Season 4 at the beginning of last month. A tribute to the main protagonist of the series could thus be considered, it would be coherent and her superhuman abilities make her a fighter of choice!
We can also note the presence of Gandalf in this list, a character again interesting given the proximity of the release of the highly anticipated series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on September 2. Still on the side of credible characters, the arrival on August 21, 2022 of the series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon on the origins of House Targaryen suggests that the presence of Daenerys in MultiVersus would not be insignificant and would be intended to “surf the hype” that this series will generate without too much fear. A choice that would be largely understandable!
A supposed future casting which, although it is not confirmed to date, suggests that many additions could be planned in the coming weeks according to the publication of the various works planned for the second part of the year 2022. So will we have the chance to embody Poison Ivy or Sandor Clegane and have them fight LeBron James and Bugs Bunny? Let’s hope so !
