The open beta of MultiVersus is fast approaching, and Warner’s game is arousing growing enthusiasm. Eventually, it may be able to seriously compete with the very well-established Smash Bros. Like the latter, MultiVersus is based on a roster of cult characters (Batman, Bugs Bunny, Taz, Superman, etc.) from some of the most famous franchises in the world.
Yet one specific character keeps raising questions, including among Warner connoisseurs. It’s about Reindog, an amazing beast, which is de facto a cross between a reindeer and a dog. Reindog has indeed put a glue to the biggest fans of Warner, and it is quite normal, because this character is 100% new, and has never appeared anywhere other than on MultiVersus.
Zanifeer’s Guardian
Warner, however, was careful to give Reindog a story and an origin. This character, described as gentle and benevolent, comes from a world called Zanifeer. unfortunately, his universe was completely destroyed by a cataclysm, and Reindog is therefore the last survivor.
Since the end of his home world, Reindog has been trying to find a way to bring his people back to life.
A “Secret OP” character?
In MultiVersus, fame is no guarantee of quality! Reindog may well have the role of newcomer, without frankness and that nobody knows, he remains an excellent fighter nonetheless. In the tier lists, he often flirts with ranks S or A. He will particularly shine in 2v2, due to his support status.
With its bold free to play model, MultiVersus is preparing to compete with Smash Bros. Will Warner’s fighting game be a match for the colossus, already very well established on the vs fighting scene?
