Warner Bros takes stock of the content of Multiversus, its Smash Bros free to play, whose beta is already accessible thanks to Twitch Drops. As we will see, the economic model is quite similar to that of League of Legends, while a battle pass is also available.
With its beta available for two days in early access, MultiVersus from Warner Bros Games is slowly but surely starting to attract the curious. LoL Character Rotation
Unable to access the entire Multiversus cast unless you checkout. Normally the challenges and fights should allow you to nab at least one character for free, but for the others you will have to take advantage of League of Legends character rotations to get them out in the arena. Each license representative has their own axis of progression, but also cosmetics, also paying.
No pay-to-win
MultiVersus seems to be on the right side of the Force when it comes to free-to-play monetization, since there are no paid options to speed up character progression. Along the same lines, it is quite possible to switch to training mode with the hero of your choice in order to test it long, wide and across before possibly going to the checkout. Finally, it is clearly specified that the game will not include any lootbox, despite a roster that will continue to expand.
