MultiVersus: Discover this challenge pulverized by players in record time!

The open beta of MultiVersus at his best and players around the world are in the midst of a fight with characters, each more unusual than the next! Between Sammy from Scooby-Doo, Rick&Morty, Taz, Tom&Jerry and many others, all the emblematic figures of Warner Bros find themselves in the free-to-play in order to deliver fights of madness.

The game seduces thanks to a particularly advanced 2v2 mode as well as fighters all more unique than the othersbut also because it is available free. Revenue is generated through Founder’s Packs, in-game purchases, or certain tokens that players can purchase to unlock new characters.

A perfect mix for a successful free-to-play, and the community is there! But while the open beta has only been launched for a few days, Warner’s teams have launched a rather unusual challenge to players.

Show us what you got!

On July 29, a rather curious post appeared on the official MultiVersus Twitter. Cromulon Giant Heads (Rick&Morty) have appeared to challenge players around the world. The objective was therefore to carry out collectively 10 million ring exitsin order to unlock a new map: Cromulons.

A monumental challenge that the players took up in barely three hours, showing once again the monumental hype of MultiVersus and especially the number of fighters who are already there in open beta. Since then, users have had access to this map coming straight from the Rick&Morty universe, which will remind fans of the license of good memories of the most iconic freestyle in the series!

A phenomenal success for the license

Since the opening of its beta, and even in early access, MultiVersus has been a huge success! Although it was accessible to a limited number of users, the early access registered a few days ago a peak attendance of 62,433 playerss, unheard of for a fighting game in early and restricted access. Thanks to this strong influx, MultiVersus recorded the highest peak of players ever observed on a fighting game (in 1v1 or smash like), ahead of Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 11 or even the legendary Brawlhalla.

It looks like the open beta is going the same way, with a peak recorded at more than 144,000 simultaneous players the day of its launch. The players are therefore well and truly there and the future of the MultiVersus is bright. No one knows how long this open beta will remain, before the game is released and the seasons are launched!

As a reminder, the beta is available on many platforms: Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and Epic Games in free-to-play. Go into battle now with characters all more crazy than each other!

If you’ve taken the time to study the MultiVersus voicelines, then you’ve no doubt come across enigmatic references to Craig of the Creek. But this character is a mystery to most of us. However, does he have a chance of appearing before much better known characters?
