Like countless online games, the developers of MultiVersus take advantage of Halloween to bring a small event. This allows players to collect treats while playing, with the aim of recovering some cosmetics for free. Back on all the details of the event.
Halloween event on MultiVersus
From October 12 to November 15, a big month, players will have the opportunity to celebrate the horrific party. You will earn treats and have access to a new shop, to buy unique cosmetics.
How do I get treats?
For treats, just play. But, because there is a but, depending on the modes and the course of the game, the number of treats won will change. To be precise, here are the rules:
- 1v1
- By not wearing a special costume → 10 treats for a loss, 20 for a win
- By wearing a special costume → 20 treats for a loss, 40 for a victory
- 2v2
- If no one wears a special costume → 10 treats for a loss, 20 for a win
- If you wear a special costume, but not your ally → 20 treats for a loss, 40 for a victory
- If you both wear a special costume → 40 treats for a loss, 60 for a victory
Thus, you will have to play a good number of games to have the necessary number of treats to obtain all the rewards (see below). Farming seems to be the only option, if you don’t have any of the required costumes.
What are the special costumes?
The special costumes are those highlighting the horror, of course. By having one of the costumes below, you can then have a higher gain of treats:
- Gizmo Combat
- stripe combat
- Dog-Reindeer Mummy
- Calico Cake
- Tom & Jerry Vampire
- Iron Giant Frankenstein
- Vera Witch
- Superman Black Lantern
- Wonder Woman Black Lantern
The rewards
The event rewards are divided into two categories. There are “free” rewards with treats, and premium rewards, requiring Gleamium. Among the free rewards, we find:
- Pumpkin Patch Profile Icon (200 Treats)
- Jack-O Lantern Sticker (600 treats)
- Dog-Reindeer Mummy Skin (3,000 treats)
- Calico Cake Skin for Jake (12,000 Treats)
