One of the strengths of MultiVersus is the fact that the many playable characters come from world-famous licenses, such as DC Comics heroes, Scooby-Doo, Game of Thrones or the Looney Tunes, to name but a few examples. However, when you go to run MultiVersus for the first time, you will only have access to five characters, namely Wonder Woman, which is unlocked all the time, and four others in rotation, which change from time to time.
How to unlock characters in MultiVersus?
For unlock other characters, you will have to play to collect gold coins. When you have a certain number, at least 1,500, you will then be able to buy a first character, located in this price range, like Garnet. The cost of other characters is between 2,000 and 3,000. To buy a character, you can go to the “Collection” tab, click on a character that you do not already own and then click on “Unlock” and choose currency. Gold coins are the normal in-game currency, while Gleamium is the premium currency, which can only be obtained by spending money.
You will therefore have understood that you will have to play for many hours to unlock all MultiVersus characters. If patience is not your forte, you will be able to obtain any character by paying, via Gleamium.
Finally, note that many characters will be added over time in MultiVersusto offer new ways to fight, since each character has special skills.
