MultiVersus officially returns on May 28 – Gamosaurus

Released in summer 2022, MultiVersus had a dazzling start, followed by a harsh return to reality. Slow updates, a lack of competitive mode, Warner’s fighting game was quickly abandoned. The solution for the developer: remove the game from the stores, and subsequently cut off the servers in 2023. But as announced, MultiVersus
returns in 2024, and from May 28, on all consoles.

As promised, this return will not be without novelty. The biggest change concerns a key aspect of the game, the netcode. This is what allows the game to be networked, and therefore allows multiplayer. With this improvement, the studio wants to ensure that matches are as enjoyable as possible. Doing what is necessary to ensure that players are least impacted by a neglected network is a priority.

With his return on May 28, MultiVersus also marks the arrival of new characters from the Warner universes. The environments will also be expanded to offer even more arenas. But above all, it is the gaming experience that has been targeted so that players feel good and come back regularly. A PvE mode will therefore appear in parallel with the seasons which will punctuate PvP.
