MultiVersus open beta kicks off this summer

Announced in November 2021, MultiVersus launches its open beta on July 26. The fighting game that looks like Smash Bros. Warner Bros version will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. And for the most impatient, it will be possible to start this beta in early access from July 19. Provided you participated in the closed alpha or made it to future Twitch drops.

Largely inspired by its Nintendo counterpart, MultiVersus takes you into the Multiverse to engage in battles with the most famous characters from Warner Bros. In all, the game will feature 16 playable characters from different Warner franchises at launch. Batman and Harley Quinn will thus be able to rub shoulders with, among others, Sammy (Scooby Doo), Bugs Bunny, Steven Universe or even Arya Stark.

For the fights, you can choose to opt for a cooperative mode in 2 against 2, or for the mode Every man for himself at 4 days. Without forgetting of course the 1 against 1. And for the most competitive, the game will offer to engage in ranked matches. All this can be played on the 8 maps planned for the launch of the open beta, among which we can find the Batcave or the Haunted Mansion of Scooby-Doo. Finally, note that your games can be done locally or online.
