Multiversus Season 1: Battle pass price, number of tiers… More info on the near future

While EVO 2022 is now officially launched, MultiVersus continues its merry way and one of the people in charge of the project tells us more about the price of the first real free-to-play battle pass, but also on the number of rewards to unlock.
Multiversus has met with great success since its release in open beta and that’s understandable: free access, crossplay multiplayer and a roster of particularly crazy characters are some of the serious arguments of this competitor to Smash Bros, Warner sauce.
Price and number of tiers

Figures that come directly from the co-founder of Player First Games on Twitter. As a reminder, a pack of 1000 gleamium is currently worth 10 euros. As usual, the battle pass contains currency in-game to buy characters, but also a whole lot of cosmetics to customize your introduction to combat and new skins for certain fighters. Like Fortnite, the game will offer a whole banner of completely free rewards, to be unlocked through daily and weekly challenges.
A delayed season 1
The official MultiVersus Twitter account recently announced that season 1 featuring the Morty character will not be available on August 9th as planned. As a result, the duration of the first free-to-play battle pass published by Warner Bros. Games will be extended by several days, which still gives you some time to complete the first banner of fighting game rewards. The new date for the start of S1 will be communicated later.
