Player First Games And Warner Bros. Games have had a curious strategy with MultiVersus. Announced at the end of 2021, the title was released in free-to-play in beta in summer 2022, but the studios shut down the servers a year later, after two seasons and a huge drop in attendance, to prepare the final version, which is still awaited.
MultiVersus is due to make its comeback this year, some of the millions of players have been waiting for information for many months.
