This July 19, 2022 marks the start of MultiVersus Open Beta Early Access. For an entire week, a multitude of players, those who participated in the closed alpha, will be able to preview the new fighting game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, developed by Player First Games studio. However, in order for more players to enjoy it, the developers will offer access via the Twitch Drops program.
How do I get MultiVersus Beta Early Access with Twitch Drop?
This is not the first time that a studio has allowed its community to recover access thanks to Twitch Drop, since many games have done it before, like VALORANT and, more recently, Overwatch 2. Here the good news is that luck does not come into play, since it is enough to watch a while a streamer to be eligible, 60 minutes in this case. Here are all the steps to follow to take advantage of this early access:
- Link your Twitch and Warner Bros. accounts. Games (here). If you don’t already have a Warner Bros account, create one.
- Then watch 60 minutes of a stream on Twitch, starting July 19 at 6 p.m., when Early Access releases. The mention “Drops activated” must be in the tags of the channel.
- You can track your progress here.
- Once you have access, choose your platform via your WB Games account.
All details regarding Twitch Drops can otherwise be viewed on the official website. Finally, if you do not want to follow a streamer for 60 minutes or simply do not take part in the early access of MultiVersus, know that the opening of the open beta of the Smash Bros.-like will take place one week, on July 26th. Everything will be done on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series, free-to-play. These are the same platforms that are eligible for Early Access.
