MultiVersus was released only a few days ago in open beta, but already fans are spreading predictions about future characters to join the roster. It must be said that the pool of franchises and characters to be exploited by Warner makes you dizzy. The publisher has everything it takes to make its fighting game the very pleasant surprise of this summer (and even of the year, who knows). But if some dataminings of the next characters seem more or less “confirmed”, others are much more uncertain. This is the case for example for Craig of the creek, the hero of a cartoon very little known in France, but who could well find themselves in the same situation as much more famous headliners…
A threatened exit, like that of other characters
In the latest voiceline dataminings, not the slightest trace of the slightest reference to Craig of the Creek. Logic: Warner erased the references with a whole block of characters, including Craig, but also superstars like Gandalf, or even Daenerys from Game of Thrones. And it is currently difficult to know if this summary erasure is synonymous with delay, or outright cancellation. Warner did not communicate on this subject, and our Craig is therefore also put on hold.
Craig of the Creek, the 9-year-old boy, hero of the cartoon that bears his name, therefore seems lost in Warner’s limbo. The production company, however, owns the rights to the series 100%, and therefore it will be “easy” for them to release the character on MultiVersus in due course.
