Municipal in Marseille: Alain Delon comes out of silence and makes a surprising outing: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

It is rare to be highlighted. Friday July 3, 2020, on the eve of the appointment of the new mayor of Marseille, Alain Delon came out of silence. However, since the stroke he suffered, his speeches are very limited. But he no doubt felt that the stake was too important not to express his opinion concerning the municipal elections of Marseille. As our colleagues report from Télé-Loisirs, he sent a press release to Agence France-Presse in which he assured support senator Samia Ghali, who would like to see the city's first deputy become Michèle Rubirola, leader of the Printemps de Marseille which won the second round of municipal elections on Sunday, June 28, 2020. "I got to know and appreciate Samia Ghali whose authentic attachment to her city of Marseille I noticed, a city so dear to my heart too and where I have toured a lot", said Alain Delon.

Alain Delon had met Samia Ghali in July 2017

"I support this woman of action, I really trust him for his choices tomorrow. I know that she will put all her energy at the service of Marseille and the Marseillais whom she deeply loves", he added. The actor had met Samia Ghali in the Senate in July 2017. The main interested party did not hide her pride in receiving the support of the sacred monster of French cinema."Thank you to Alain Delon for his support in the fight I am waging for Marseille to be One and Indivisible. He knows how oh my city, its working-class neighborhoods have always been the fight dearest to my heart. For Marseille, I will not let go", she wrote on Twitter. After numerous negotiations, Michèle Rubirola was finally elected mayor of Marseille and Samia Ghali was appointed second deputy.
