Murder of Alexia Daval: her mother looks back on this day when Jonathann Daval confessed: Current Woman Le MAG

If her husband Jonathann Daval had alerted the police to his disappearance, "the ideal son-in-law" quickly became the main suspect. After several months of investigation, he finally admitted the facts. Very close to their son-in-law before the drama, they notably talked about this detail which made Jonathann Daval confess.

After lying for months, Milf finally told the truth after seeing a photo of his cat as journalist Dimitri Rahmelow on the set revealed: "It was the starting point of the path that led to the probable truth (…) Alexia's mom comes with a photo of a cat called 'happy' and this episode makes this man crack. " Faustine Bollaert then asked Isabelle Fouillot : "But why do you think he fell for this photo and not another one?". Alexia Daval's mother replied: "The cat, I'm sure he liked it". According to Dimitri Rahmelow, the animal represented the happiness he had shared with Alexia and which was no longer: "Finally when he saw this cat, he probably saw Alexia differently."

An overwhelming reconstruction for the mother of Alexia Daval

After admitting the murder, Jonathann Daval waited several months to admit that he had also burned the body of his wife. Alexia Daval had, in fact, been found with the body partially calcined. During the reconstruction, he had made a surprising request to Isabelle Fouillot: "At the reenactment, he asked me about their cat, Happy. It was completely out of place. I wish that Alexia had never met him…", she said in the columns of Parisian.
