Samire Lymani was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the murder of his partner Aurélie Vaquier in Hérault. However, he proclaimed his innocence since the start of his trial.

Samire Lymani, a 41-year-old man, was sentenced Tuesday in Montpellier to 30 years of criminal imprisonment for having killed his partner Aurélie Vaquier, found buried in April 2021 under a concrete slab at the couple’s home in Hérault.

After 4 hours of deliberation, the jury recognized this ex-soldier and truck driver, who fiercely denied the facts, “guilty” of the murder of Aurélie Vaquier, and sentenced him in accordance with the attorney general’s indictment. When the verdict was announced, Samire Lymani shouted from the dock “I am innocent! Justice! Justice!”, before being evacuated.
