October 14, 2023 marked the sad anniversary of the death of 12-year-old Lola in Paris. The circumstances of her death shocked the whole of France since the teenager was kidnapped before being raped. The main suspect, Dahbia B., a 25-year-old Algerian misfit, admitted to being behind her murder. In the show Seven to Eight, Sunday October 22, 2023, it was Johan Daviet who spoke. Lola’s father made moving comments and notably discussed the continuation of the investigation. “A second opinion was requested by her lawyer and she can call into question her criminal responsibility and therefore the holding of a trial,” recalled Audrey Crespo-Mara. To which the principal concerned responded: I fear it but his lawyer is doing his job. This trial, Johan Daviet assures to wait for it in order to “move on…finally try” but he nevertheless specifies that he is “afraid” to this idea. “It’s going to be a very complicated day or several days,” he declared afterwards.

Johan Daviet: “I have it in my head and it’s horrible”

Faced with Audrey Crespo-Mara, Lola’s father makes a series of shocking confessions. Johan Daviet evokes the body of his daughter, found to around 11 p.m. by a homeless person. It’s the prefect who tells ushe remembers. Lola is in a trunk left “in front of our house, in front of the residence. I’m losing my temper. I want to see my daughter, they refuse me. At the time, I don’t understand it”, says the teenager’s father. A few days later, Lola’s parents went to the Paris Medico-Legal Institute, where their daughter’s body was found. For the first time since her murder, they learn of the nightmare she experienced. The autopsy report, I read it, my wife too. I have it in my head, it’s horrible, declares Johan Daviet. Written sentences that are engraved in his memory. “I wouldn’t wish anyone to experience what she experienced”, concluded Lola’s father. This terrible tragedy ruined the life of the teenager but also that of her family. Johan Daviet confided that he had found his old demons, from which he is now trying to separate himself.
