Murder of Lola, 12 years old: where is the main suspect, Dahbia B. now? Update on the investigation: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

October 14, 2023 will mark the sad anniversary of the death of 12-year-old Lola in Paris. The circumstances of his death shocked the whole of France. Dahbia B., a 25-year-old Algerian misfit, admitted to being behind her murder preceded by rape. The sole suspect in this case was examined by psychological experts who described her as being “perverse and psychopathic”. However, an initial psychiatric assessment, carried out only a few days after her arrest, concluded that Dahbia B. was not suffering from any psychological disorder at the time of the events. According to information from RTL, Thursday October 12, 2023, Dahbia B. is still interned in the Unit for Difficult Patients (UMD) at Villejuif hospital in Val-de-Marne. It is “his behavior in the cell in Fresnes prison which had led to this placement”. In fact, she was aggressive with the supervisors and violent towards herself. Actions which therefore pushed the prison administration to make this decision. However, his hospitalization does not prevent a possible trial before a criminal court.

Dahbia B.: the main suspect soon to be heard for the second time

Dahbia B. was arrested the day after Lola’s death. The police had no trouble finding the main suspect, since she was at her sister’s home, in a studio in the residence where the little girl’s parents were the guardians. During his interrogations, the young woman had made incoherent comments, stating in particular that the crime of which she is accused did not make her “neither hot nor cold”. As indicated RTL, Dahbia B. should soon be heard again by the judges. A second opinion was requested by the defense and the conclusions will make it possible to determine whether she must appear before an assize court for her trial. Dahbia B. was indicted for intentional homicide of a minor under 15 years of age in connection with rape and acts of torture and barbarity, and for concealment of corpses. For the first time, Thursday October 12, 2023, Lola’s father spoke. “She didn’t just destroy a child’s life: she destroyed an entire family,” declared Johan Daviet on RTL. Dahbia B. remains presumed innocent of the charges against her pending a final court decision.
