The body of Sihem Belouahmia, who has been missing since January 26, was found thanks to the indications of the main suspect, Mahfoud H., a 39-year-old man. After denying any involvement, he finally confessed and it’s a “dispute related to a romantic relationship“ which was mentioned by the prosecutor of Nîmes. This Sunday, February 5, the show seven to eight wished to give the floor to Lounès, the employer of the teenager. The opportunity for him to mention the supposed relationship between Sihem and her attacker. The relatives of the young woman have, through their lawyer, assured that there was no story between the two. Comments also made by the employer. “They say there is a relationship between them, it was Mahfoud who said that but it is completely false“, he first said before adding: “That, I can guarantee you 1,000%”. He then states: “We were H24 together. When I say we, I take the team, we would have seen it with our own eyes”. In addition, the young woman worked staggered hours. “We finish at 11 p.m./midnight, we drop her off at her place. She never came home alone and there was always a colleague to bring her home. We would have seen something.” says Lounes. But why would Mahfoud have invented a relationship with Sihem?
On the evening of her disappearance, Sihem left to join Mahfoud. A gesture that his relatives can not explain. “We would have liked to know what she left to do with him, but I couldn’t tell you.“said his employer in turn. Subsequently, he made a chilling revelation. He remembered having received a phone call from the teenager around midnight. “She said to me: ‘There is Mahfoud who is coming to fetch me, by car.’ And we didn’t even have time to chat a little longer,” he first revealed before continuing: “It cut off, I received a text message where she said to me: ‘I’m going, I’m getting in the car. If anything happens to me, it’s Mahfoud. If he doesn’t there is no news, give the alert to my brother”. Was Sihem aware that she was in danger? “I said, ‘Give me your location.’ By the time she does, I had no network, it was loading and it didn’t take long to activate. Afterwards, I had no further contact.”, concluded Lounes. Revelations which coincide with those of the relatives of the young woman and which contradict the remarks made by Mahfoud. The body of the young woman was found in a forest the next morning. An autopsy was performed on Friday February 3 to determine the circumstances of the teenager’s death.
