Must-have for sneaker fans: Lidl sells ingenious shoe gadgets

Are you always on the hunt for new sneakers and want them to always look like they just came out of the box? Then the current Lidl offer could be just the thing for you – perhaps as a Christmas present with a new pair of shoes. The discounter sells an electric sneaker cleaning brush in its online shop for just 9.99 euros.

The sneaker brush is waterproof and has a running time of around 120 minutes – enough for several pairs of sneakers. The scope of delivery includes three different attachments for cleaning. The sponge brush head is suitable for leather and PVC, the soft brush head for mesh and linen fabric surfaces. The hard brush head helps against dirty rubber soles.

The electric cleaning brush is a good alternative to hand washing because it sometimes cleans better than is possible manually. Together with a little water and/or cleaning agent you can achieve good results and get your shoes nice and clean again.

The best thing: The brush does not have a built-in battery that cannot be changed. Instead, it is powered by four AA batteries – of course you can also use rechargeable batteries. Matching batteries are included in the scope of delivery.
