MWC 2022: Day 3 in video recap – The B-side of the Barcelona show!

We have reached the end of another Mobile World Congress. After the cancellation in 2019 and a comeback in 2021 marked by doubts, the MWC loses relevance. For this reason, there was little new to see on the third day of MWC 2022. My colleague Benjamin Lucks and I therefore went to the exhibition halls to enjoy the “B-side” of the event a little.

Before we said goodbye to the fair, we were able to tick off a few points. For example, we were able to talk to companies that produce smartphone accessories and some of them have amazingly innovative ideas. IMStick is such a creative company that produces a kind of stand that attaches to the back of the smartphone. In this way you can set up or hang the mobile phone.

Another cool experience was riding a virtual simulator roller coaster. This type of product isn’t new, but the hype surrounding the Metaverse makes it exciting that many companies are working on simulators like this. We are already excited to see what the MWC 2023 has in store for us in this regard.

Day 3 in the video recap: Barcelona, see you again next year!

In our recap video of day 3 of MWC 2022, we show you some of the robots that were on display at the fair. Unfortunately we missed the Boston Dynamics presentation. Fortunately, Xiaomi’s Cyberdog woke up from its charging sleep. We also had the chance to see the bartender robot in action and much more.

In the following clip you can now see a summary of the third and last day of the fair for the NextPit team:

We in the editorial department are already thinking about the next MWC and the next tech events in general. On behalf of our team, I’d like to thank the entire NextPit community for following our show coverage. And of course I would like to take this opportunity to ask your opinion on MWC 2022: What did you like most about MWC Barcelona?
