In the coming months you will be able to buy notebooks from Nokia. However, the laptops are not produced by the Finns themselves, but by the French company OFF Global. The principle is reminiscent of the Nokia smartphones that HMD Global builds. Here you can read the most important key data for the Nokia PureBook Pro, which is available in 15.6 and 17.3 inches.

The name alone is reminiscent of HMD Global, which produces and sells smartphones under the Nokia brand. However, OFF Global has no Finnish roots, but comes from France. As the spokespersons emphasize, no products from the Far East were bought from the Nokia notebooks and they were simply relabeled – the PureBook Pro 15.6 and the PureBook Pro 17.3 are completely in-house designs, according to OFF Global.
According to the manufacturer, the two notebooks are “home notebooks” for use in your own four walls. In addition, the focus is on users without high hardware requirements – which also pushes the costs down: with prices starting at 699 and 799 euros, the computers for the 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch format are relatively cheap.

A Core i3-1220P in the 28-watt version works under the hood for the money. Versions with Core i5 will follow later. In the standard version, the PureBook Pro come with 8 gigabytes of RAM and a 512 gigabyte SSD. The display resolution is Full HD here and there, although this should look a bit grainy on the larger 17.3-inch model. The camera above the display also offers 2 megapixels or 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The keyboard has backlit keys, there is also a fingerprint sensor and four speakers. OFF Global packs the hardware into a plastic chassis with a metal cover in either white, red, blue or gray. In addition, the notebooks are upgradeable – so you can exchange RAM and SSD without losing the guarantee. There is also a microSD slot for memory expansion. The batteries are permanently installed and deliver 57 or 63 watt hours.
The market launch should initially take place in Germany, France, Italy and Great Britain, probably at the end of April or beginning of May. Both versions of the Nokia PureBook Pro run on Windows 11 out of the box.
