The first highlight awaits smartphone fans even before the doors of the trade fair have opened for the first time. On Sunday, February 26th, the day before the MWC, Xiaomi invites you to a big launch event. What you will see there is already known: the Xiaomi 13 series. The manufacturer’s new top smartphone has been available in China for a few weeks and is now celebrating its global launch in Barcelona.

Xiaomi 13 Global Launch

Larger deviations in the specifications are not to be expected. Still, there might be a surprise. Because while the Xiaomi 13 series in China has so far only consisted of the Xiaomi 13 and the 13 Pro, a leak in the run-up to the event suggests that Xiaomi will also present a Lite version of its flagship in this country. It is said to be a renamed Xiaomi CIVI 2, which is also only available in China so far.

In addition, the manufacturer could show other new devices. The Xiaomi Watch S2, the Mi Band 8, the Redmi Note 12, the Redmi A2 and also the Xiaomi Pad 6 are under discussion. However, it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will really unveil all these products in Barcelona.

More flagship launches from Realme and Honor

Not only Xiaomi is using the mobile communications fair to launch its 2023 flagship, Honor and Realme are also planning to do so. Honor will present the Magic5 series together with the new Foldable Magic Vs on the first day of the fair (February 27) from 1:30 p.m. The launch of the Realme GT3 is scheduled for the second day of the fair (February 28) in Barcelona at 4 p.m.

While Honor praises the camera of the Magic5. A world record has already been photographed with the mobile phone, and Realme wants to set new records when it comes to charging. Thanks to the 240 watt power supply, the GT3 should be charged from 0 to 100 in less than 10 minutes.
