“My cake is the best in France”: Cyril Lignac is back soon on M6 with a brand new program: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

After the monster success of Tous en cuisine, the flagship show of the first confinement, Cyril Lignac returns to M6 with a new show of the most delicious. Called “My cake is the best in France”, it arrives on the channel on April 26 and has many surprises in store for you. On the program: pastries, a sharp jury and very French know-how. No doubt, you will have a blast!

What is the concept of the show?

This time, contrary to the concept that entertained us during the entire confinement, the chef does not cook by video calls with personalities. Accompanied by his 4 jurors, he will travel the roads of France and go to several cities, to meet pastry aces. If the latter are above all amateurs, they nonetheless realize surprising and terribly tasty creations, and handle with precision the spatula and the pastry bag. To start this stage, Cyril Lignac will go to seven cities (Avignon, Nancy, Mâcon, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Douai, Angers and Saint-Émilion), and taste nearly a hundred cakes. At his side in this journey we find: Merouan Bounekraf (candidate for season 10 of Top Chef), Pépée Le Mat and Louise Petitrenaud (food columnists), as well as Luana Belmondo, journalist and culinary host. At the end of a first selection, the candidates will compete in the second round during a technical and creative test. Only 5 of them will reach the final and it will be up to the pastry chef Jean-François Feuillette to determine which is the best cake in France. The winner will have the privilege of being able to market his creation in the chef’s shops. So you can taste them too!

Make your best cakes too!
