My Energy Broker: With its IPO, My Energy Broker achieves its fundraising objective

(BFM Bourse) – The energy broker for professionals announced on Friday evening that it had raised the 7 million euros needed to develop its network of agencies as well as new services. The shares will be listed from May 31 on Euronext Growth.

My energy broker is ready to take its first steps on the Paris Stock Exchange. The energy broker for professionals in France announced Friday after the market the success of the operation and the forthcoming listing for trading of its shares on the Euronext Growth Paris market.

The IPO price was already known since it had been set as soon as the operation was announced at 9.65 euros.

In total, the issue of Mon courtier énergie shares represents a capital increase of a gross amount of around €7 million, ie the target amount. The group had the option, depending on demand, of resorting to an extension clause which would have increased the number of new shares by 15%, but it did not activate it. An over-allotment option (representing an addition of a maximum of 8.44% of the new shares) may be exercised from the start of listing, scheduled for May 31, until June 30.

So far, 3,625,388 million new shares have been issued. In detail, 74% of the new shares were subscribed by institutional investors under the global placement. On the side of small carriers, demand represented 26% under the fixed price offer.

At the end of the operation, indicates the press release of the group, the market capitalization of My energy broker stands at around 35 million euros “based on the IPO price”.

A turnover of more than 40 million euros by 2025

The company founded in 2017 plans to use the funds raised to finance its growth, which it declares as “profitable”. To achieve this, the company intends to further densify its commercial network at the national level and intensify its international development.

“These resources will make it possible to accelerate the group’s development and take ambitious new steps around our three objectives: development in France, internationally and the ramping up of our offers related to the energy transition of companies. The initial public offering of My Energy Broker will also bring notoriety to the Group in a fragmented and fast-growing market,” said Charlie Evrard, Founder and CEO of My Energy Broker.

The strategy presented by My energy broker should enable it to generate a turnover of more than 40 million euros by 2025 (compared to 19.2 million euros in 2022), of which 15% would be generated internationally. The company is also aiming for an operating profit close to 5 million euros as well as an increase in its network to bring it to more than 40 branches in 2025.

The press release specifies that the settlement-delivery of the shares will take place on May 30, 2023 and that the shares “will be admitted to trading on the Euronext Growth market, from May 31”, i.e. Wednesday, under the ISIN code: FR001400H3A0 and the code mnemonic ALMCE.

“We are proud and very happy to join the ranks of companies listed on the Paris stock exchange”, welcomes its founder Charlie Evrard.

My energy broker will join, among the newcomers on the Parisian coast, the pioneer of learning to drive online Lepermislibre and more recently the specialist in low-carbon soil Florentaise, IPOs respectively, in February and April of this year .
